The nice thing about a community is that it offers a lot of opportunity for the people within it. Just as much, it offers up a chance for people to find themselves by experiencing a community for the first time. For me, this came about with the discovery of the local Bubs n Grubs store. My wife had only recently told me that she was expecting. I was a little excited, but also a bit scared. In particular for the fact that I just wasn’t feeling like a father. That is, until I walked into the Bubs n Grubs to buy a stroller. When I asked the sales associate for help, she was quick to offer up a wealth of advice. What I love even more though was that the people around me quickly joined in as well. The people at Bubs n Grubs really made me feel like I was a part of the experience. It’s what’s going to make me keep coming back as well.
